Deep Thoughts

head-desk-banging.gif     In my journalistic career with both public and private media outfits, I wrote mainly news reports, feature stories and documentaries. Seldom did I pen any fiction except for the occasional hyperbole in missives to my bosses. That would change in the fall of 2006 when I enroled in a creative writing class. It was so much fun I joined another one, and yet another one. I was smitten!

The classes would morph into a small group of recreational writers. We hold clandestine sessions at each others homes, swapping and enjoying each others’ yarns. I have learned much from them and made long-lasting friendships. I even took a stab at poetry, bad poetry that is! It is a work in progress as is everything else. I welcome your feedback.
